All Summer long, Southwest Human Development (link) has worked with St Vincent de Paul's Dream Center (link) on a reading program. Friday, August 12th was the last day of the Summer program with a "Science Rocks" event. The children were able to go to several stations from building a space ship to tasting different flavors, learning how to make play dough, etc.
